A-Z Reflections Post

This year is my very first time doing the A-Z Blog Challenge. It’s been a true challenge to come up with a blog topic for each letter of the alphabet, then write something for the chosen topic. I’m proud of myself that I didn’t miss a letter!

What did I get out of it? I stretched my mind, I pulled out my hair, I blogged on a regular basis, I connected with some lovely people who visited my blog, and met others through visiting their blogs.

Also, I find the regular writing of anything, any topic, helps to firm up my previous more random schedule. I hope it will allow me to do lots more writing.

Wish me luck!

Congrats, Liz! You did a great job and I'm very proud of you. I hope you get a lot of recognition from it as a bonus.

The reason you got through it without missing a letter? You're an author and being an author means you're persistent and dedicated and you NEVER give up no matter what. :) <3

Thank you, Kim! It was tough coming up with something every day. I appreciate your support so much!

You're a veteran now and will have to give advice to newbies next year. Congrats on finishing.

Thanks, Susan! I'm thinking of topics for Q and X right now. ;-)

Sorry I missed visiting during the challenge. Have found you through your reflection. You are a brave soul, writing as you went along. This was my 3rd year and I had all mine written when it began. Tweaking them near publication. In my own reflection I have some opinions of what works and what doesn't in the process for me. Hope it will help others who are thinking on the experience and what they are going to do with their blog now. I'm still catching my breath and thinking....I know the world according to Liz is an interesting one.

Thanks, Stepheny. I guess I'm one of those "once I get an idea, I run with it" writers. The hard part for me was coming up with the idea, not writing it. That's probably why I did great in school at paper-writing time as the teacher gave us the topic!

Thanks, Mee. I appreciate you reading and commenting on my reflection.

And Mary, I will definitely give it a try again next year, now that I have one under my belt!

Hello there.
Congratulations on completing your first challenge! Once you get that first one under your belt, it does get somewhat easier after that...well, a little anyway! (lol) What I learned from my first year was in order to keep my sanity during April, I had to write my posts ahead of time then have Blogger auto publish them each day since I was not always online. Even though I still found the challenge stressful, it was one less thing to worry about. This was my second year taking part. Thanks for sharing. Just meandering through from the Road Trip.

Thanks, Goddess! This was quite an experience. I'll have to think about pre-writing next time, though that may involve more planning than I'm capable of. ;-) Or more than I want to do, anyway.

I appreciate your visit!
